Have you ever seen a movie and thought, "damn I wish this happened for real"? Well since the year began, I have come across of a number of movies to be released during the later part of the year and can't help thinking if we would be better off if the world took the stories of some of these movies.
In this post, I'd be sharing my top five anticipated movies coming out this year, and give the reasons why I think it won't be such a bad idea if these movies happened in real life.
First things first, I don't know about anyone else, but i definitely was not expecting a third installation of the novel based Netflix original, I mean despite the rocky parts of their relationship in the second part, Lara Jean and Pete were able to rise above their village people and come out victoriously stronger in their relationship. From the trailer it appears the challenges of the relationship this time would be a little more realistic but nonetheless I bet they would come out victorious and here lies the reason I'd like of this was real life because the dating in the generous is quite the ghetto.
Still unsure the direction this movie would take, but from the thriller, I do think if I was being hunted by an ancient ghost, I would not mind him looking like a hot Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, it kind of gives the ghost story the candyman a whole new perspective and makes his name even more befitting.
The most real thing I'm sure about this movie is the nostalgia that a ton of 90's babies are going to feel once this drops. I have my personal beef with cats and rats in real life but imagine a world where we had tom and jerry as actual celebrities gracing the carpets when the movie dropped, not in Africa though because you know we don't take too kindly to animals having a semblance with humans especially cats, and can you blame us?
Now before you get me wrong, I love dogs and while I don't wish certain parts of Cruella's story to be real (thirst for dalmatian fur), it would be interesting if she existed and took the fashion industry by storm because let's be honest, if there's one thing about Ms De Vil, her outfits were legendary. I mean think about it Cruella Coutoure doesn't sound so bad.
I don't think a lot needs to be said as to why having real-life minions would be such a thrill. There are a bunch of other movies that make up my anticipations list, but I just don't wish any of them came through because they would make the world a tad more disastrous, some of these movies include,
