Dating a man like Tom Ford is the dream of every woman who has love for fashion. Sadly, men like my all time style man crush do not often come on a platter of gold. The scarcity of good guys, have brought about most of us women settling for what we can get, this does not mean we cannot still shape our men into the style god we fantasise about.

If you are dating a man with little or no style, this post is written specially for you. Pick up your note pad and take note on the ways you can get your man in style ASAP.

HINT CLOTHES CHANGES

The first thing you should do, in order to get your man looking dapper and new is getting rid of all his horrid clothes. Ladies you have to be very smart when making this move, there are cases were your man is attached to particular item of clothing because it has sentimental value.  So I suggest you from time begin to put in his head how his clothes either do not fit, worn out, or unflattering, bringing up the need to have a change in clothes.

Note: never play the “out of style” card to get your man to change clothes, it simply does not work!

GIFT HIM CLOTHES

Throughout the process of your undercover makeover, make sure all your gift items are some sort of clothing. Also, do not forget to guilt trip your man into wearing them.

COMPLIMENT HIM OFTEN

This is relation to the previous point, I am sure in your relationship giving your man a compliment is a norm.  But for the purpose of getting your man looking stylish, it is important to cut down on the compliments for basic things. Focus all the compliments on whenever he has on any of the clothing you got for him.

BE A GOOD EXAMPLE

Never put yourself in a “pot calling kettle black” situation. If you are willing to go through with getting your man fashion forward, you have to lead by example. With time he’ll get tired of being mistaken for the help whenever he’s around you and step up to the style plate.

TRICK HIM INTO GOING SHOPPING

Simply invite your man on an outing and offer to drive, and then you can take a detour into a store. Be sure to make it seem like you just want to check out something,  then make him try a couple of clothes you are sure he looks great in and persuade him to get them.

GIVE HIM STYLE LESSONS

After you have successfully carried out the first five, this part comes easy because you have awoken the fashion conscious part of your man.
